Streamlight showcased their new helmet light at EnforeceTac. The idea behind this light is to minimize the number of illuminators and beacons the end-user has to carry by offering multiple features in a single solution. It features white, IR, red, blue, and green LEDs, each with low, medium, high, and strobe modes along with an additional IR/IFF beacon. The IR/IFF beacon has a switch that lets the user use both the main light and the IFF when needed. For the other features, a pull-to-turn rotary select knob is used for activation and prevents accidental mode changes, it also functions for the selection of one of the three LED colors.
The Sidewinder Stalk 2 has a multi-fuel capability, allowing it to accept AA and CR123 batteries without the need for an adapter. The clip allows attachment to a helmet or MOLLE vest for hands-free lighting.
