INVISIO is a Swedish company and a global market leader within advanced communication and hearing protection systems. They develop advanced systems that enable professionals in noisy and mission-critical environments to communicate and work effectively while protecting their hearing.
I was especially interested in their T7 headset that provides 28dB SNR hearing protection. This over-the-ear headset is lightweight, weighing only 350 grams (12.34 oz), and is submersible to a depth of 10 meters. The headset is developed in cooperation with several special forces units to ensure it delivers on their needs in the challenging conditions in which they operate.
The headset features a new speaker system with submersion capabilities of 10 meters. Their hear-thru microphone drainage system ensures that the microphone works immediately after it has been in contact with water. This is different compared to other brands out there with their foam protections where you might get the familiar sound of water distortion, something you want to avoid if possible.
As each person is unique they created what they call ''3D ear cushions''. They explained that the standard cushions can cause uneven pressure on the ear and jaw area which can lead to discomfort. I am very curious to try it out as I always have used Sordins with the upgraded gel cushions.
INVISIO also offers various Push To Talks and Control units. From left to right: INVISIO R30 wireless PTT which can be attached to the rail of a rifle. V10 Gen 2 single com control unit, V20 control unit, V50 Gen 2 control unit, and the V60 gen 2 control unit.
